Still in the Running

After I applied for The Best Job In The World, I called to ask when they would be starting interviews, etc. The woman I spoke to (Myrna, the ED) said that they would be shorlisting hopefully by Friday (the 7th). So, I waited, and waited. Last week I send off a quick email asking if they have shorlisted yet. I didn't want to be pushy, but I didn't want to get my hopes up. I didn't hear back, so I figured she was politely (if not somewhat passively), PFO-ing me. So, I gave up hope.

But then I had that dream this weekend (see post below), so I thought something better would come up. However, I just got an email from Myrna saying "We haven't short list yet and probably won't until next week as I am going to a conference this week." So, all hope is not lost. *re-crosses fingers, toes, and various other appendages*
